Leaf Hat Company was born out of necessity, an idea that came about while walking down the trail in the elk woods. Dedicated hunters obsess over their kit, analyzing every piece of gear for usability and performance. When looking at a hunter’s entire kit, we felt there was a gap in the head wear category. We set out to create headwear purposefully built for the dedicated hunter’s pursuit, a piece of gear that eliminated distractions and put the focus back on the hunt.

Our flagship hat, The Aspen, incorporates design elements to address head pinch, effectively move sweat away from the face and offer a more comfortable fit than traditional trucker hats. We used a water resistant exterior fabric to help shed moisture and a quick drying sweatband to absorb excess sweat while maintaining comfort. Our hat also features a “sweat barrier” which is a thin, silicon strip designed to channel sweat running down the brow and move it away from the face. We carefully selected muted earth tones in each colorway (outside of blaze orange!) that effortlessly blend into the natural landscape, while still having enough appeal and cool factor to wear to the bow shop or your favorite brewery. Lastly, we made the bill rigid enough to “glass off of” while still offering enough flexibility to achieve your desired fit and an overall increase in comfort compared to more rigid headwear.
